Spectrohm saw this problem and decided to make a change.
We’re launching CheckStream to replace manual bag searches. It’s 4x faster, 2x more accurate, and 1/2 the cost. You’d think that would make it some wildly expensive tech. Instead, it’s more efficient and affordable than hiring labor for manual inspection.
Venues aren’t the only places where Spectrohm can make a difference.
Nearly half a trillion bags, boxes, backpacks and other items move each year. But only about 3%—primarily those heading onto passenger aircraft—are fully inspected.
Airports. Doctors’ offices. Workplaces. Museums. These are just a few of the places where we constantly lose time to inspection lines.

Why do we put up with it? Because we’ve been forced to choose between thoroughness and speed. Inspecting everything would take too long and cost too much. So today, we settle. We take the risk. We eat the cost.
